Lieve Claeys

Lieve Claeys graduated as Master of Biomedical Sciences at Ghent University in 2007 and obtained a Master in Environmental Management and Sanitation in 2009. She is a European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) since 2015.

At ARCHE Consulting, Lieve is a Regulatory Affairs Manager with over 10 years of experience in the biocides sector. Her main expertise lies in the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), where she coordinates BPR consortia and manages complex product and active substance dossiers, including renewal applications.

In addition, she has extensive experience in human health and environmental risk assessment under BPR and REACH, and has contributed to the development of alternative testing strategies such as QSAR and read-across. Lieve also delivers training in toxicology and CLP classification and plays a key role in the strategic and commercial development of the Biocides Business Unit.
